When the lights go down, Palermo becomes really hot! Not only for the weather, but in the last years we have so many bars in town, always full of people, especially in the city-center.

Palermo never sleeps any day of the week, you will always find bars open and people around in the areas of Piazza Sant'Anna, Vucciria, Via Chiavettieri, Via Garibaldi.

VIA DEI CHIAVETTIERI AREA

Via dei Chiavettieri is located next to Via Vittorio Emanuele and the sea-side area. It offers a variety of bars with affordable cocktails, live music and entertainment, and many cheerful locals to accompany the high volume of other tourists.

You can expect to pay for a good cocktail around 5 €, for a glass of wine around 4 € and for beers between 2,50 and 5 €.

Many bars have tables outside and it is a great place to start the night, either for an aperitif or for a drink in a group.

VUCCIRIA AREA

Vucciria is a strange cool chaos! You can see a lot of rundown buildings, sketchy looking places,drunk people and dogs, but if you can handle it, it is going to be an unforgettable experience. Taverna azzurra is the most famous bar, drinks are the cheapest you can find in town and they have the famous zibibbo, marsala and sangue wine for only 1 €!

In the center of Piazza Caracciolo you can find other bars and local street food. Good choice as well to have a late snake with a pizza place and different bars offering sandwiches or the famous pane panelle e crocchè, sicilian specialty

The african bar, tables outside, food, drinks, live music and a dancing floor to dance tribal, african music. Very fun

PIAZZA RIVOLUZIONE AREA

Piazza Rivoluzione has been one of the most central areas for night-life in Palermo for a very long time. 3 bars are dominant in the square, Qvivi, Cavu' and Zammu'. Very similar between each others, they offer a nice atmosphere, tables outside and a big crowd almost very day of the week.

You can expect to pay around 5-6 € for cocktails, 4-5 € for a glass of wine, 2,50-5 € for beers
